PUBLICATION
The Japan Institute of International Affairs offers a range of periodic and occasional publications in Japanese and English, including books, journals, newsletters and policy reports. The publications are disseminated in print and electronic forms.
PUBLICATIONS IN ENGLISH
AJISS
-Commentary
is an occasional op-ed type publication. It aims to present a variety of Japanese views on international relations to international intellectuals interested in Japanese external policy. For these purposes, AJISS-Commentary invites a wide range of Japanese thinkers and practitioners to express their views.
Four leading Japanese think tanks have joined forces to form The Association of Japanese Institutes of Strategic Studies (AJISS) to publish AJISS-Commentary. The institutes are: Institute for International Policy Studies, The Japan Forum on International Relations, The Japan Institute of International Affairs, and Research Institute for Peace and Security.

PUBLICATIONS IN JAPANESE
, published since 1960, is a leading journal of scholarly analysis of Japanese foreign policy and international affairs. It is published online ten times a year and is available to JIIA members and by paid subscription. For subscription information, please visit our Japanese language website.
